Homes England and Liverpool City Region have signed a new agreement to coordinate housing delivery and regeneration.

What the announcement covers

Announced on 2 October 2026, the partnership aligns national investment and expertise with regional priorities. A joint delivery unit is intended to support housing projects, address delivery barriers and progress regeneration.

Planning your London project

This announcement concerns Liverpool City Region, rather than a London grant scheme. The wider lesson for an individual building project is practical: define responsibilities, approvals and the scope of work early. London homeowners can start with a written brief for the changes they want to make.
